Latitude 33 is responsible for preparing and processing the land  planning, entitlement, and engineering services. The project includes  a General Plan Amendment; a Specific Plan; a Rezone; a Vesting Tentative Map; a Major Use Permit; an Administrative Permit; and a Site Plan through San Diego County.  The 1,250-acre site located in the Town of Jacumba, near the U.S./Mexico Border,  includes 3 commercial areas and 2,100 residential units, including detached town homes and single-family homes, a significant  amount of perimeter open space, a water reclamation facility, approximately five miles of trails, an agricultural area, a neighborhood park, a recreational area, an elementary school site, and a commercial area.
